ginger gems

ingredients
150g butter
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tsp of ground ginger
1/2 ground  cinnamon
2 Tbsp of golden syrup
1 egg
2 cups of standard flour
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of baking soda
1/2 cup of milk

yesterday at tech we made ginger gems. it tasted good even though we accidentally put the oven on 220 degrees instead of 180 degrees. the texture was good and wasnt burnt at all in the inside.unnamed (1).jpgunnamed.jpg

    These ginger gems sound good! I'm thinking I could try and make some while we are in lockdown, but the method isn't included in your post. Could you maybe add that? Also the pictures aren't showing up.

    Good work on letting us know what didn't work so well (i.e. the temperature). It reminds me to keep a check on what I set the oven at :-)

    In future, please put the method in with the recipe. Also include relevant photos of the processes required to produce the outcome.
